David Lynch–John Hagelin West Coast Tour
To Begin November 3
Thousands of Students Already Signed Up
for Events on Six College Campuses
David Lynch addresses a capacity crowd at the University of Michigan
Renowned film director David Lynch, US Peace Government president Dr. John Hagelin, and brain researcher Dr. Fred Travis will kick off the second phase of their national college tour on November 3 at the University of Southern California as they bring “Consciousness, Creativity and the Brain” to six West Coast college campuses.
Several thousand students have already signed up to attend the talks, and all six colleges have booked overflow halls to accommodate the massive crowds expected. At the University of Washington, for example, with no publicity except for four flyers and word of mouth, all 750 tickets distributed by the box office were gone in two hours, and the University has now booked a spillover hall for 500 people. (The event is free; however, tickets are required to attend.)
The tour has also generated intense interest among the international media. BBC’s one-hour premier news show is preparing a 20-minute segment on the David Lynch Foundation for Consciousness-Based Education and World Peace, which will include an in-depth interview with David Lynch as well as coverage of the November 3 talk at the University of Southern California. Canada’s number one news show is planning similar coverage. The New York Times has interviewed David Lynch for a feature story on philanthropy featuring the David Lynch Foundation. Even the initial launch of the Foundation in July generated over 1,000 newspaper articles—an unprecedented response to such an organization.
We encourage all US Peace Government supporters to invite their friends and colleagues to attend these historic West Coast presentations. If you or your colleagues would like to support the David Lynch Foundation, please visit http://davidlynchfoundation.org/contribute.html or contact Chris Busch at (641) 209-6404.
